Slick
Between February and July 2007 Vox Motus has been developing a concept that marries puppet bodies with human faces, a puppet theatre with live performers and a darkly comic story that takes the naive inhabitants of a Glasgow tenement on a journey of greed, avarice and, ultimately, murder.
The result of this development is SLICK - a new project that involves imaginatively surreal storytelling, puppetry, physical performance and a new staging concept.

SLICK is the story of the inhabitants of a destitute tenement built above the only crude oil supply in Glasgow… only no one knows that yet.
The world is seen through the eyes of Little Malcolm Biggar, a nine year old with a passion for his skateboard, a harrowing fear of his lunatic neighbours and a growing suspicion that perhaps his parents do not always have his best interests at heart....
